STRIP
Objective Understanding cause and effect.
Activity
- Pupils draw a comic strip (3–6 frames):
- Lie → Plot twist → Revelation → Consequence.
- Emphasis: A lie always has consequences.
Foreword:
A brief chat:
- What does cause mean?
- A consequence is the result or effect of an action or condition.
- Does every action have a consequence?
Together, you will find an example from everyday life (e.g., forgotten homework).
On the board you write the diagram: Cause → Complication → Revelation → Consequence
MIDDLE PART
1. Task explanation – comic strip
- Pupils draw a comic strip with 3–6 panels which depicts:
- A lie cause,
- Plot trouble due to lies,
- Disclosure The truth will come out.,
- Consequence (what happens, how they feel).
- The teacher emphasises:
- Incorrect order of events,
- simple dialogues in speech bubbles,
- emphasis on the consequence, not the punishment.
2. Independent work
- The students choose a topic (school, home, friends, game).
- During the activity, the teacher encourages reflection with questions:
- What would happen if I didn't lie?
- Would the outcome have been different?
CONCLUSION (10 minutes):
Volunteers present their comics.
Group conversation
- What cause led to the biggest problems?
- What were the most difficult consequences?
Concluding thought: »When we choose to lie, we also choose the consequences."
