It was a beautiful month of May when I went on a pilgrimage with a Slovenian-Italian group. The departure by bus was from Nova Gorica ...

I met a lovely person called Leonora who lives in Italy, right next to the border. We immediately had an energy between us, as if we had known each other forever.

After a long drive, we arrived in Medjugorje, settled in with our families, followed by dinner, socialising and then rest.

The next day, after breakfast, we set off on the Križevac footpath. When we got to the VII cross, Leonora saw a dog lying motionless in a corner under a rock and said to me, "Erika, look at the dog, shall we go and see if it is still alive?" I answer, "Of course." The dog was alive, but very dehydrated and beaten, unable to drink even water because of his helplessness. So at first we just stroked him so he could lick the water off the palm of his hand. Passing people told us to get away so that we wouldn't get sick. During this stroking, this touching, I got the information to press three points or switches. I did so and held the points for a while, because this restored the puppy's life energy. Then the puppy got a little strength to take a sip of water. Leonora expressed the wish to take him downstairs, but we didn't know how.

I had an idea: "You know what, I'm going to take off my T-shirt so that we can put the puppy in it and grab it at our end and take it down to the valley." We gave him water to drink on the way. A passer-by said, "Watch how the earth angels save the lives of animals." When we arrived in the valley, miracles began to happen. People started giving us money for the puppy, I remember we raised 100 euros, wow. Then we found a taxi to take us to a vet who examined the dog and found a shelter for it. The puppy was full of life, just a little limp on his back paw because he had been beaten. We left the money we received for the dog, as it was meant for him.

I am grateful for this wonderful, very emotional and rewarding pilgrimage.
