During the epidemic, when we were at home a lot of the time, he was inspired to create a Facebook group where he would share the beautiful places of Dolenjska. The idea was realised. So, in April 2020, the group was created Light-footed in Dolenjskain which he started publishing photos from his hikes, along with where they were taken.

People followed the announcements with interest and started to discover places that some of them had never known before. Soon, they started asking if they could join him on a hike. Ciril was happy to invite them along, and so the joint hikes began, bringing many people together. The group grew rapidly, mutual support spread and more and more people started to explore Dolenjska. People also started sharing their photos and descriptions of the trails in the group, which made it even more interesting, as everyone contributed their own view of the places they had visited.

The main purpose of the group is to exchange ideas for nature trips in different parts of Dolenjska. In this way, its members discover and spread the visibility of the sights of their town or municipality. They share photographs and route descriptions. Many people get ideas for excursions and hikes in Dolenjska. The hikes are also suitable for the less experienced, as the most important thing is a good mood and suitable footwear. The full moon hikes are particularly popular and have been organised 72 times so far! As of September 2025, the group already had more than 8,200 members.

Ciril's heart, effort and joy to bring people together were also noticed by others. In July 2022, he was on television Your channel chosen as Personality of the Month because of the support of so many people. He fell just short of being named Personality of the Year. But to everyone who knows him, he is a true friend and someone who brings people together and encourages us to get outside, socialise and enjoy the outdoors.
