Tim Levstik is certainly one of the latter. He is committed to sharing his versatile and useful knowledge, intertwined with natural healing methods (acupuncture, chiropractic and bioresonance), with the wider community. As he says himself, he has wanted to follow this path since childhood.
He has long been researching and helping people facing all kinds of problems with this kind of ancient and practical knowledge, which is still in the shadows of official medicine. Many of them turn to him when they cannot find other solutions to their problems.
It is not the only time he has helped someone in need without being motivated by the desire to make money. People trust him and he is a treasure trove of knowledge and useful advice for friends and acquaintances, which comes in handy as many people in modern times face problems such as back pain, headaches, sciatica and similar ailments.
The team's work is always guided by ethics and professionalism. He shared with me an interesting story from two years ago. On a Saturday morning, a young couple who had come from a party, as it were, were booked in for acupuncture treatment, but they didn't tell him.
As they had slept little after a night of sleep, not everything went according to plan. The first to arrive for acupuncture was a girl who, after a 15-minute session, started to feel dizzy and nauseous. Only then did the couple reveal to Tim that they had been at a party where the girl had had a little too much to drink. The therapy was therefore only given to the boyfriend.
For both Tim and the client, it was a lesson that could have read: Don't go for acupuncture in a drunken state. After this incident, Tim decided to send his clients a short, funny video before every treatment to give them a hint and avoid any unpleasantness, illustrating the fact that alcohol and acupuncture do not go together. A healthy lifestyle is also much more important than it is usually given in younger years.
During our conversation, Tim mentioned another interesting fact that rounded off our chat nicely. He mentioned, "The people who reach the highest age come from the so-called blue zones. These are the areas where most people live to 100 or more. They say that the most important things for vitality and longevity are, among other things, good relationships and the ability to connect and cooperate with each other." We agreed that this is something that every one of us should strive for in life.
