Katarina is a positive person who loves to create with flowers. I have been following her profile for quite some time. And so one day she posted that she was selling eucalyptus trees of different varieties. And so I decided to buy one of them. Since we couldn't arrange a pick-up time and location, she delivered the eucalyptus herself to my sister. Two for the price of one. She said: "I have one small one left. I'll leave them both with Alexandra."
But that is not the point of today's story. I wanted to share with you an interesting project initiated by Katarina Meža. In the story, which she also posted on instagram, she shared the following: Project Give flowers, give love was born out of her good deeds; giving bouquets of flowers to strangers on the street. She herself believes that this humble act can brighten someone's day. And to avoid doing it alone, she wanted to take this project to different towns, cities and villages all over Slovenia. So she came up with the idea of distributing the flower seeds she grows at home among women who also want to share love and make random people happy. I have also received a packet of seeds which I will plant soon. I very much hope that the seeds will sprout and grow into beautiful flowers so that I too can bring joy to people I pass by.
Katarina says that 30 women from different villages responded to the advert posted on Instagram. So she sent seed packets to 30 communities. She also said that she found it interesting that only two orders were from the same municipality. This means that when the flowers bloom, they will make people happy in the streets of almost 30 Slovenian towns. In addition to the seeds, Katarina has also produced neatly designed stickers and cards to raise awareness about the project.
We will see how a small act or a beautiful gesture, done from the heart and with love, can change the world for the better in a few weeks' time, when the first flowers from the seeds Katarina so kindly sent us will bloom. Thank you, Katarina, for doing good for your fellow human beings and for making it possible for those of us who have decided to join the project to do it together with you.
