The kind that work with people who don't see them as competition and don't want to compete with someone else.
Vida Ozis is the CEO of AN.NIKA, a Slovenian medical pedicure company. At the same time, she is a person who has no problem doing anything if she believes she is doing it well. Those who have followed her story from the beginning to the present day will quickly realise that she deserves to be ranked among the best employers in Slovenia. Vida reaches out to many people - even outside the workplace - and offers to help without expecting anything in return. One senses this and such actions deserve to be noticed.
I share just one example to show how supportive Vida is. She met a classmate from college. She knew that her classmate was starting a new business career, and because she believes that good comes back to good, one day she asked her: "What do you need? I'll help you. Would you like a newspaper ad?" Her classmate replied, "Yes, of course, that would be great." Vida said, "Send me the content; I will edit and pay for the ad." And she did.
A few months later, Vida met up with a former classmate again, who shared her idea that she wanted to print the company's logo on T-shirts, but didn't have the funds to do so. Vida said, "Tell me how many T-shirts you need; I'll get them printed." She ordered and paid for the printing and even sent the already made T-shirts to her classmate's address. This action is really not a given. Vida is a very successful and very busy person who, in addition to her own business, runs franchises all over Slovenia.
I would call her a man of action. Anyone starting out in business can probably imagine how much such gestures mean to an individual. Everyone would like to have a person like that by their side. My classmate's gratitude for her support, encouragement and selfless help is priceless. Vida is a great person and a kind-hearted person, and her mentality is: "If each one of us adds a little bit, we can build a lot from it."
A classmate asked her, "Vida, why are you sharing your money with me when you could spend it on yourself or invest it in developing your business?"
She replied, "Because I believe in you and I trust you to do good. I want to support you and I want you to succeed. I understand you very well, because I was there at the beginning of the journey."
That's why her classmate calls her a good background fairy, because she never just talked about something or promised something, she just did it.
