Pupils from Škofljica Primary School have, through the video contribution “One Story – Two Perspectives”, exceptionally showcased the power of five core values: trust, honesty, mutual help, belonging, and moderation. The interweaving of personal testimonies from local pupils and their new classmates from abroad reveals how small gestures of kindness – from a simple smile to translating and including someone in a game – build bridges between different cultures.
The story reminds us that belonging doesn't mean erasing one's own identity, but rather a double richness, where values become actions that create a safe and encouraging environment for each and every individual.
