For many years, the Media Education Association has been carrying out an important mission - we have been helping young people, students, the unemployed and the socially disadvantaged to learn about new technologies, free of charge and on a voluntary basis, in order to help them get a job faster and be more competitive on the labour market...

Our work was based on volunteering, heart and the belief that knowledge can change lives. The Association was born out of the gap between education and business, what a student of multimedia, for example, needs to know to get a job, and what a school actually offers.

But after a few years of dedicated work, we found ourselves in trouble, as the market changed and subsidies were no longer targeted at small associations, funded by volunteers themselves, with their own work and earnings. The financial crisis hit us hard, funds dried up, bills piled up and we risked having to stop all our activities. All our dreams of equitable access to knowledge and support for young people seemed to be in jeopardy.

In those most difficult moments, renowned entrepreneur Robert Rolih has selflessly come to our aid. Without hesitation, he offered his time, expertise and even financial support to help us get through the crisis. His first piece of advice was clear: First, educate yourself about entrepreneurship and sales, learn how the market works and acquire the skills that will give you long-term stability.

Robert led us step by step. He advised us on which books to read, which resources to follow and how to improve the work of the Society. Even though he is very busy, I could always call him and ask for advice. He shared with us access to his training programme, which was crucial to understanding modern business. He also supported us financially so that we could continue to operate free of charge for those who needed us most.

His help has brought new wind to our sails. With new knowledge and confidence, we started to organise trainings more efficiently, communicate better with the general public, expand our reach and sell more of our services to fund the association. More importantly, we have stayed true to our mission - to bring knowledge to those who cannot afford it themselves. Students who no one wants to take in, who have a limitation, an illness, are far away on farms and can't do an internship, we have enabled them to do an internship, read school, on concrete projects and also to get a job.

Today we are stronger than ever. We are leading young people into the world of entrepreneurship and self-employment, and giving the unemployed new career opportunities. The story of the Media and Entrepreneurship Education Society of Robert Rolich is a story about the power of solidarity, knowledge and social responsibility. It is proof that, united with knowledge, sincerity and heart, we can overcome even the greatest challenges. And for this we are immensely grateful to Robert Rolich.
